My journey with Africa began over three decades ago, with a backpack and a sense of adventure. I explored South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia — and fell head over heels for the continent’s wild beauty, soulful landscapes, and unforgettable people. That first trip changed everything.
Back in the UK, I transformed my passion into a profession, spending more than a decade as a travel specialist with a luxury tour operator. During my time there, I visited Southern and East Africa regularly, crafting thousands of bespoke holidays and honeymoons for clients seeking extraordinary experiences.
Today, I run Africa We Travel, my independent travel consultancy. I specialise in tailor-made journeys across Africa and the Indian Ocean, drawing on years of personal exploration and professional insight to create trips that are meaningful, seamless, and unforgettable.
From the dunes of Namibia to the thunder of Victoria Falls, I’ve revisited destinations like South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe countless times. I’ve bungee jumped in South Africa, white-water rafted the mighty Zambezi, and climbed Namibia’s iconic Big Daddy dune — each adventure deepening my love for the region.
Africa has given me so much — joy, perspective, and lifelong memories. Its people are the heart of the experience: warm, welcoming, and masters of hospitality.
