Your time off is precious. How you spend it is deeply personal. I’m Natalie Dent, an independent travel agent in Edinburgh. I specialise in bucket list experiential luxury, wildlife conservation tourism, and high-value multi-destination itineraries that bring you closer to your destination without the crowds.
Travel planning often starts with a loose idea. There might be somewhere you’ve wanted to go for years, or you might know only that you’d like to try something different. You don’t have to have it all worked out before we speak. I enjoy that part: hearing what you’re thinking, sharing ideas and finding out what would make it a good holiday for you.
After more than 17 years in travel and visits to over 80 countries, I’ve learnt that a good itinerary depends as much on pace and variety as it does on where you choose to go. There should be plenty of time to enjoy the places you’ve come to see, and enough variety to keep it interesting without becoming too rushed.
Tailor-made holidays and specialist knowledge
I plan package holidays, tailor-made travel and multi-centre holidays with pace and variety in mind, bringing the whole journey together so that the flights, places to stay and daily experiences make sense as one holiday. My specialist areas include African safari holidays, cruises, New Zealand, Asia, Disney, the Caribbean, and Orlando holidays, but I'm comfortable and experienced in booking all types of holidays worldwide.
My experience spans eight years arranging luxury safaris, four and a half years living and working aboard cruise ships, three and a half years planning worldwide holidays with a leading UK travel agency, and a year working in luxury hotel management in New Zealand.
Those experiences give me plenty to draw on when we talk about your plans. I’m equally happy finding you a lovely week by a pool with Jet2holidays or TUI `as I am creating a year-long retirement itinerary or a special celebration trip.
